Wrestling Strength Tip - Zercher Good Mornings
Coach Dustin Myers is coming to you live from THE Old School Gym. Today he is bringing to you the Wrestling Strength Tip of the Week. The zercher good morning is an exercise that combines two great movements that is going to make you strong in a very crucial position. That crucial position is when you are bent over with the entire posterior chain loaded and holding on to something heavy. The zercher squat is essentially a front squat variation and when you combine it with a good morning you get a zercher good morning. It is very important when performing this exercise that you hinge at the waist. You do not want to round your back out. Make sure to keep everything nice and tight, push the hip through and squeeze at the top. Give these Zercher Good Mornings a try and let us know what you think!
