TD - Bench Press Tips
Welcome back to another episode of Technique Daily with today's host, Zach Homol! Zach is going to show you some tips on how to improve your bench press. Zach benched every day, 7 days a week, for about 2-2.5 years. He also benched 405 for about 3 months straight. During this time Zach started at a 335lb bench press and increased it to 425lb. The goal of benching everyday was not to bench more weight but rather to learn how to bench correctly. The goal was to take the movement daily up to a sub-maximal weight of 1-3 reps. Another important part about benching everyday was Zach was learning his body and how to do it correctly to help better avoid injury.
