Welcome back to another episode of Technique Daily!  Coach Dustin Myers is back to show you a Shoulder Prehab Routine.  If you are like Dustin and have shoulder problems from years of benching wrong and lifting weights incorrectly maybe in your younger days?  This is the perfect routine for you!  This a great shoulder strengthening routine for the rotator cuff.  What you will do it use an incline bench and with your chest leaning on the pad, use a light set of dumbbells and row up pinching the shoulder blades together.  Then rotate the dumbbells up so that both elbows are bent at 90 degrees.  From there you are going to do a Serrano Press, pressing the dumbbells up then return to the 90 degree elbow and rotate down lowing the weight to the starting position.  The key is when you rotate you don't what to let your elbows drop down or go back.  Use light weight any where between 5-10lb dumbbells for 8-10 reps.  Give this Shoulder Prehab Routine a try and let us know what you think!
