Shoulder Prehab Superset

Welcome to the Shoulder Superset of the Week with today's host Dustin Myers!  Today Dustin is going to show you a great Shoulder Prehab Superset to keep your shoulders healthy so you can do all that heavy pressing work. 

You are going to start with a rotational serrano press, you will need something light like some 5lb dumbbells.  Starting position will be face down on and incline bench, shoulders up with elbows bent at 90 degrees, rotate the weights up so they are inline with your head, press the weights overhead and pause then back down rotating into the starting position.  You are going to do between 5-10 reps but you will know when you are done when your arms start to drop down and you can't hold position any longer, the sets over.  

Then grab a slightly heavier set of dumbbells like 10lbs and you are going to do a rear delt fly with the thumbs facing one another.  Make sure you are pulling straight to the side and not back.  You will do 8-10 reps on that as well.  Use this shoulder prehab superset 3-4 days per week for 3 sets of 5-10 reps per exercise.  Give this Shoulder Prehab Superset a try and let us know what you think!
