Weighted Back Extensions
From the cold tundra of Ohio Cory Gregory is here to show you how to get you lower back, hamstrings, and glutes strong with some weighted back extensions. Cory believes that lower back extensions are a necessity every time you hit the gym. Most gyms have either a GHD or a 45 degree back extension. Each day you go there you should hit like 3 sets of 10 reps and eventually work up to those sets of 10 being weighted. Cory started out just doing bodyweight and has worked up to using 100lbs - 150lbs doing those 3 sets of 10. How you will do these is just hinge at the hips and squeezing the glutes at the top. Doing this daily will help put blood into your glutes, hamstrings, and lower back to help keep you healthy. There are a lot of different things you can do for the lower back but this is just a very basic exercise that you can do daily. Make sure to give these a try and to add them into your daily workout!
