Wrestling Strength Tip: Russian Neck Twist

Coach Dustin Myers is coming to you live from THE Old School Gym.  Today he is bringing to you the Wrestling Strength Tip of the Week.  This is a variation of a neck plank.  What you are going to do is sit on a swiss ball and walk out until you are in a neck plank where your spine is nice and straight push your hips up through the heels.  Then what you are going to do is add rotational movement like a russian twist with your arms up in the air as you rock side to side.  This is a tough movement so you want to keep the reps low around 3-5 reps on each side stay nice and stable pushing through the heels keep your hips up.  Give these Russian Neck Twists a try and let us know what you think!
