TD - T Bar Rows
Welcome back to another episode of Technique Daily! Coach Dustin Myers is back to show you one of his favorite back exercises, the T-Bar Row. With any type of rows whether it be t-bar rows, seated rows, dumbbell rows, the biggest problem Dustin sees is people jerking at the top and not getting a good contraction of the back muscles. They might be pulling hard on the weight but they are not getting the full contraction of the shoulder blades at the top. They way we can fix that is adding a quarter rep at the top to really concentrate the shoulder blades on the squeeze. When you pull the bar off, make sure you get a good stretch at he bottom then come all the way up retracting the scapulas. Then lower the weight a quarter of the way then back up getting a good squeeze bring the shoulder blades together then back down to the bottom. Adding in the quarter reps is really going to help you get that big back development. Gives these T-Bar Rows a try and let us know what you think!
