Behind Neck Press With Band Pull Aparts
Welcome to the Shoulder Superset of the Week with today's host Cory Gregory! Today's superset Cory is going to show you a couple of exercises that are going to keep your shoulders pulled back. The first exercise is the Behind the Neck Press. A lot of people had somebodies grandpa or uncle tell them not to do this exercise because it's bad for your shoulders. Cory says that's bullshit! You lower the bar right to your ear lobes and back up which will open up everything. You can do these light if you want to or you can work up in weight. Cory says that his bench press feels the best when he can do 135lb behind the neck for 20 reps. The second exercise is the Band Pull Aparts. You are going to take a narrow grip on the band to make the movement harder or widen out the grip to make it easier. Make sure that when you are pulling back and retracting the shoulder blades that you are squeezing and getting a nice hold in. The key is to get everything pulled back. Give this Shoulder Superset a try and let us know what you think!
