Keep the motivation in front of you.  Getting abs can be a daunting task, and if you don’t have the motivation to stay on track in front of you, it can be even harder.  You need something that will keep you out of the cupboards at night in order to stay the course.  Out of sight is out of mind.  That’s how it works.


Maybe you are trying to attain a specific physique or want to fit in a particular outfit.  Maybe it’s a vacation that you want to look good for coming up.  Hang it on your refrigerator, make it your computer wallpaper, etc.  Do whatever you have to do to keep it flowing through your mind.


In my case, I can remember back in the day that one of my main goals was to look like Mark Wahlburg because he is bricked up.  By keeping whatever you are interested in or what you want to look like in front of you can set you right.  You can never lose by storing these things at the forefront of your mind. 


Discipline is rewarded.  Having abs is showcasing your discipline in your diet and conditioning on a daily basis.  By keeping your goals constantly in front of you, it will be much easier for you to stay on track to accomplishing your goal.
