With warm weather right around the corner it's time to trade out the treadmill for the track.  Try this killer track workout and let us know what you think.

 

1. Warm up:  400m light jog

2. Dynamic stretch

3. 400m x 4 (3 minute rest between each)

 Each 400m you will follow the same pattern:

jog/stride the first 100m (curve), sprint the next 100m (straight stretch) at 80-90%, jog/stride the next 100m (curve), sprint the final 100m at 100% max effort.

4. Finish with a cool down 400m-800m jog 1 minute after the final sprint.
