4 Great Combat Combos From Travis Browne
Travis "Hapa"Browne is going to show you a great Counter Attack Combo that you can use in defense against your opponent. A lot of times when your opponent if moving forward striking, they will leave opportunities open to counter. As they are attacking you moving forward towards you, you will take 4 steps back and with each step you will be throwing a punch with the same side hand as the leg you are stepping back with. After the last punch you will throw a knee. It should be Left, Right, Left, Right, Knee. On the last punch you want to leave your hand out to protect yourself and tuck underneath your shoulder, grab the opponents head, and throw the knee. In a recent fight that featured Eddie Alvarez vs Justin Gaethje, what Eddie did to start countering the the leg kicks and Justin's head movement which he did a great job of ducking down and covering his face is Eddie did a Long Uppercut Hook To The Body. He started to do this little combo on both sides and just stayed long with it. What you want to try to aim for is going past the elbows so you don't break your hand. What a lot of people do is when they do a switch kick is they really separate their feet then they have a long way to go to finish the kick. You want to move forward and not move your feet to far apart. After you hit someone with the switch kick a couple times then follow the switch kick up with a right hand.
