6 Reasons You Should Train At The Crack of Dawn

Chad Proud and Jacob Pontius / Blog MAFIA

We’ve all heard and read about the legendary #4AMcrew training sessions. But what are some of the MAJOR benefits to training at the ass crack of dawn (or really even before that)? Look no further.

1) You get to take the Max Effort Muscle Pre-Workout as soon as you wake up!!!

Whether you enjoy sipping on our pre-workout, or taking it TO THE DOME, I think that we can all agree that it is one of our favorite parts of every day. When you have that to look forward to first thing when you wake up, you're always going to start your day off on the right foot.

2) Gets It Out of the Way

Whether you’re a businessman, or a business, man – training first thing in the morning means that you have the entire rest of the day to get shit done. You don’t have to worry about fitting in time for the gym, or having something come up (and something ALWAYS comes up) that prevents you from getting your training in. And remember, consistency is the KEY!

3) Empty Gym

Enough said! No more having to wait for the squat rack because someone’s doing bicep curls. You’ll be able to train in less time because you don’t have to wait for ANY equipment.

4) Sense of Extra Accomplishment

Ever since I religiously started training first thing in the morning I noticed an extra sense of accomplishment. Like I was doing something extra or drastically different than 99% of even other people who train.  Even if my sessions ended up being shorter than training in the afternoon or night.

It built confidence that I was going above and beyond the average person and created momentum for me to keep going even if I felt tired. It even created a mindset advantage at work, making me feel like I had one up on everyone else in the office because I was switched on and ready to attack the day earlier than they were.

5) The Hardest Part is Already Done

When your training is done and dusted before the sun comes up, the hardest part is complete. You have all of that extra motivation to stay consistent with your nutrition because you’ve already accomplished one half of the equation.

On top of that, anything else you do that day is just icing on the cake. Whether it’s lunges, running, ab work, extra volume at home, etc. you’ve already built the base for the day. You no longer have to worry about “how am I ever going to fit all of this training in?” when it’s 4PM and you have to drive to the gym, pick up your kids, make dinner, make time for your significant other etc.

6) Promotes Better Sleep

When you know that alarm clock is waiting for you at 3 or 4AM you’re definitely more likely to avoid messing around watching too much TV or spending pointless hours on your phone the night before.

On top of that we all know that training gets your adrenaline flowing for sure. So doing it first thing in the morning sets you up with more than enough energy to get you through the rest of the day. And at night, when it’s time to wind down, you’ll be more than ready to get the rest you need to do it all over again the next day. Be sure to supplement with our CBD 1000 right before bed to promote better and deeper sleep so you can recover and do it all over again tomorrow!
